Rules:- Teams of 1-4.
- Keep bags and belongings in the shelves next to the General Classroom entrance.
- Do not sleep in the General Classroom - separate rooms are allocated for this.
- There are no planned fire drills during the weekend.
- Familiarise yourself with the location of fire exits and assembly points.
- Keep doorways and fire exits clear at all times.
- Do not leave tools, cables or equipment unattended where they may create a trip hazard.
- Use tools and equipment only for their intended purpose.
- If you are unsure how to safely use a tool or piece of equipment, ask a committee member before using it.
- Report any injuries, accidents, damaged equipment or safety concerns to a committee member immediately.
- Keep liquids away from electrical equipment and power supplies.
- Do not overload extension leads or power sockets.
- Closed-toe footwear is strongly recommended while working on hardware projects.
- If you feel unwell, fatigued or unable to work safely, take a break and inform a committee member if assistance is needed.
- In an emergency, follow instructions from event organisers and volunteers.
REMINDER: Participants are responsible for ensuring their projects can be operated safely. Any project deemed unsafe by organisers may be restricted from demonstration until the issue is resolved.
